• Mild detergent
• Avoid bleach

• Tumble dry low or air dry
• Remove promptly to reduce wrinkles

• Press (don’t drag) to avoid distortion

Tilda notes that pre‑washing is optional. If you prefer to pre‑wash:
• Wash in cold water
• Dry on low heat
• Expect 2–3% shrinkage (normal for quilting cotton)
